RULES

The first rule of fight club is to have fun and be yourself! The next rule of fight club is: abide by the rules below.


FIGHTS

  • No killing, dismemberment, disembowelment, disfigurement, etc.

  • All weapons/aether allowed. Try not to go too hog wild, though. There's no such thing as fight pit insurance.

  • Fights are conducted using Grindstone rules.

  • This style of combat uses the /random feature. All fights will be conducted in /yell.

  • At the beginning of the match, both fighters roll for initiative. The higher roll wins and attacks first.

  • Once the attacker has posted their attack in /yell, both fighters roll. If the attacker rolls higher, the hit connects; if the defender rolls higher, they successfully defend.

  • In the event of a tie, each reroll attack and defense.

  • The defender must then write a post containing both their reaction to the damage (if any) and their next attack. They are now the attacker, and the other combatant defends.

  • Both roll once more. Rinse, repeat, trade places.

  • The first combatant to successfully land three hits wins the match. The defeated fighter may send one final post to end the match.

  • Each fight has a 30 minute time limit. Once 30 minutes have passed, the combatant with more hits on the board is declared winner.

  • If both fighters are tied at the 30 minute mark, the match enters Sudden Death. Each combatant will be asked to roll one final time, with the higher roll winning the match. Both fighters will be allowed one final post.


GENERAL CONDUCT

  • Don't be an asshole.

  • For real, though. This place is run by one (1) person. Be excellent to each other.

  • While this is a mature venue, please keep anything sexually explicit within the privacy of your own party chat. Just a courtesy thing.

  • No one under 18 (IC or OOC) is allowed through the doors. Please don't make the proprietor ban you from the rust pit.

  • No fighting outside of the cage. If you've got a bone to pick, do it off of the premises. Go have a soak in the baths (they're right outside).

ABOUT/STAFF

The Safehouse is just that — an abandoned safehouse tucked away somewhere in Ishgard, overgrown and rundown. Left undisturbed until just recently, when an enterprising Keeper decided to repurpose the old building. Certainly with only the purest of intentions.This is a pop-up event space with no set schedule. The space itself is always available as a fight pit for those who desire some... specific recreational activities. Just don't be surprised if the owner drops by unannounced.

Makes a mean cocktail. Just don't expect a conversation.

Feel free to either "write against" Churchkey as a very quiet, mild-mannered character or simply grab a drink from him and head to the pit. He doesn't mind either way, and neither does the owner.
